Stacie Ferguson Cards Career-Low 71In Second Round At Pac-10 Championship

EUGENE, Ore. - - Oregon State got a career-low 71from true freshman Stacie Ferguson in Tuesday's second round of the women's Pacific-10 Conference Championships at the par 72 Eugene Country Club. The Beavers are in ninth place with a 623 heading into Wednesday's final 18 holes after a 309 on Tuesday.
Ferguson is tied for sixth place after she followed up her first round 77 with the first sub par round of her career. Ferguson is three strokes behind the leaders at 4-over 148, and leads the nation's top-ranked player - Arizona's Jenna Daniels - by three strokes.
Carina Olsson had another solid day for the Beavers, as she recorded her second straight round of 78 to tie for 32nd. Anne Brooksby is tied for 47th with a 159, as is senior Reena Eklund, who is playing as an individual. Rachel Borcherts, another Beaver senior, is tied for 51st with 160, and Brie Del Bone shot 167 to place 59th.
UCLA's Amanda Moltke-Leth and USC's Mikaela Parmlid share a tie atop the leaderboard at 1-over 145.
Top-ranked Arizona holds a five-stroke lead over UCLA in the team competition with a 593.
