Men's Golf Finishes tied for 10th at Sun Devil Invitational

Tim Mickelson shot a final round 1-under-par 71 to help the No. 25 Oregon State University men's golf team to a tie for 10th at the Arizona State Thunderbird/Savane Invitational. The Beavers shot a final round 292, their best for the season, as they improved one position from the second round.
Oregon State finished in a tie with California at the Karsten Course on the ASU campus. The host Sun Devils won the team title at 18-under-846, two shots better than Arizona. Fresno State finished third at 850.
Paul Casey of Arizona State won the individual title at 9-under-207. The title for Casey, who shot 69 in all three rounds, is his fifth for his career. Derek Gillespie of Arizona was second at 208, while teammate Ricky Barnes was third at 210.
The rest of the Oregon State scores include Eric Dahm tied for 87th at 234.
Oregon State returns to action April 24-26 at the Pacific-10 Conference Championships at the Karsten Course.
