Men's Golf Moves Up To No. 25

CORVALLIS, Ore. - - The Oregon State men's golf team climbed to No. 25 in the April 6, 2000 edition of the MasterCard Collegiate Golf Rankings, up four spots from No. 29 the previous week.
In the Apr. 10 Golfweek/Sagarin College Rankings, OSU held on to its No. 30 ranking for the second week in a row.
Oregon State was ranked No. 22 in the Mar. 20 Golfstat poll.
In the first MasterCard District Coaches' Poll of the season, Oregon State ranks eighth among district eight teams.
Individually, Oregon State sophomore John Lepak tops out at No. 58 nationally in the MasterCard rankings, 68th in Golfweek, and 77th in the Golfstat Cup rankings.
The Beavers will look to improve their ranking when they play in the Sun Devil Intercollegiate in Tempe, Ariz. on Apr. 15-16, before heading to the Pac-10 Conference Championships, also in Tempe on Apr. 24-26.
