OSU sets dates for wrestling camps

CORVALLIS, Ore. - Oregon State will have four separate Beaver Wrestling Camps for wrestlers through high school age this summer. All camps will be held on the OSU campus, with camp staff including Oregon State coaches and wrestlers plus a number of the state's top high school coaches.
There will be camp sessions for individuals from June 18-22 and June 25-29, an intensive camp for individuals from June 18-27, and a team camp from June 22-25. The camps will offer emphasis in leg wrestling, takedowns, riding and pinning, escapes and reversals, and Olympic styles (freestyle, Greco Roman). The intensive camp will also include cardiovascular training, weight training, technical drills and live wrestling.
The cost for regular sessions is $315 for resident campers and $200 for commuter campers, the cost for the intensive camp is $575 for resident campers and $290 for commuter campers, and the cost for the team camp is $250 for each resident team member and $200 for each commuter team member.
Cost includes room and board in the OSU dormitories, use of Beaver athletic facilities in all camp-sponsored activities, a camp T-shirt, a camp notebook and newsletter. Commuter campers receive neither room nor board.
