Food Drive/Fan Appreciation Night Scheduled

Corvallis, Ore. - The Oregon State University Athletic Department has scheduled a food drive and a fan appreciation night for this weekend's men's basketball games and gymnastics meet.
Each fan who brings two cans of food or non-perishable food items to Thursday's 7:05 p.m. men's basketball game against Arizona or Friday's 7 p.m. Shanico Inn-Vitational gymnastics meet in Gill Coliseum will receive a coupon for free popcorn or an insulated mug to be redeemed at any concession stand that evening. The food collected will be donated to the Linn-Benton Food Share. Sedexho Marriott, OSU's concessionaire, is also sponsoring the food drive.
Fan Appreciation Night is scheduled for Saturday's 7:05 p.m. men's basketball game against Arizona State at Gill Coliseum. Numerous prizes will be awarded to fans, including gift certificates to Burton's Restaurant and Trysting Tree Golf Club, a complete tool set courtesy of Napa Auto Parts, and many other prizes donated by Corvallis area businesses. The grand prize, which will be awarded at the conclusion of the game, is a pair of roundtrip airline tickets from Portland to San Diego courtesy of Shuttle by United.
