WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - Oregon State freshman Crystal Draper has been named the Pacific-10 Pitcher of the Week, the league office announced Monday.
Draper went 2-0 last week, lifting the No. 12 OSU softball team to victories over No. 1 UCLA and No. 4 Washington. She allowed three earned runs for a 1.58 ERA on the weekend.
It is Draper's second Pac-10 Pitcher of the Week award this season. She was also honored on March 9. Draper's honor also marks the second straight week the Beavers have claimed Pitcher of the Week recognition. Tarrah Beyster was the leagues Pitcher of the Week last week. OSU has also captured one Player of the Week honor this season, with Jodi Chmielewski being recognized on March 23.
UCLA's Julie Marshall was this weeks Pac-10 Player of the Week.
