Takaisha Fires Personal Tournament Low at NCAA Championships

TULSA, Okla. - Oregon State University senior Kathleen Takaishi fired a third round 5-over par 76 and finds herself tied for 48th place with 18 holes remaining of the NCAA Women's Golf Championships. The tournament is being held at the Tulsa Country Club.
Takaishi has played the course with rounds of 80 Wednesday, 78 Thursday and Friday's 76. Her three round total of 234, is 22 shots behind tournament leader Grace Park of Arizona State.
"Her score is no indication of how well she is striking the ball," Beaver Head Coach Rise' Lakowske said. "She has made only one double bogey the whole tournament. This conditions on this course have changed daily, but she has played well most of the time."
