Women's Golf Finishes Fourth at Texas

Austin, Texas - Austin, Texas -- The No. 25 Oregon State womens golf team shot a final round 317 and finished fourth at the Betsy Rawls Lady Longhorn Classic. The Beavers concluded the tournament with a 90-over-par 954 total.
Kathleen Takaishi fired her second consecutive round of 4-over 76 over the Great Hills Golf Club to lead OSU. Takaishi finished tied for ninth at 16-over 232, 14 shots behind medalist Kristin Dufour of Texas. Other Oregon State scores included Rachel Borcherts tied for 11th at 233, Anne Brooksby tied for 25th at 244, Erin Borcherts tied for 28th at 245, and Reena Eklund tied for 43rd at 259.
The host Longhorns easily captured the championship at 892, 48 shots better than second place Missouri.
