Softball to Play Louisiana State on Friday

BATON ROUGE, La. - The No. 3 seed Oregon State softball team will face top-seeded Louisiana State at 2 p.m. PDT on Friday, May 21 in the second day of action in NCAA Regional play.
Host LSU defeated No. 6 seed Southern University, 12-0, in five innings to set up the game with the Beavers. Oregon State suffered a 1-0 loss to fourth-seeded Southern Mississippi on Thursday.
In the other Thursday game, No. 2 Oklahoma defeated No. 5 Long Beach State, 3-1.
Oklahoma will play Southern Miss at 5 p.m. PDT on Friday, while Long Beach and Southern will meet at 11 a.m. PDT.
The tournament is a double elimination format. The winner will advance to the NCAA College World Series in Oklahoma City from May 27-31.
