Women's Basketball Hosts Coaches Day

The Oregon State womens basketball program is proud to announce it will host a high school and junior college womens basketball coaches day. The event will take place Sat., Nov. 7 at Gill Coliseum. The day will start at 11:30 a.m. and conclude at 1 p.m. Coaches in attendance will receive a tour of Gill Coliseum, a catered lunch, two passes to the Oregon State football game vs. UCLA at Parker Stadium, and meet the OSU womens basketball staff and student-athletes.
Head Coach Judy Spoelstra and her staff have nearly 25 years of coaching experience among them. Spoelstra is a former Kodak All-American at Oregon State and highly successful Head Coach at both OSU and Montana State University. Trisha Sears is in her fourth season at OSU and was a standout player in the Big Sky Conference for Spoelstra at Montana State; Karen Westwater-Deden, who is in her second stint at OSU, was a three-time All-Pacific-10 Conference player at the University of Washington and went on to play for the New England Blizzard of the ABL; and Brenda Bumgardner is in her second year on the staff after serving as an assistant coach at Lebanon Valley Junior College in Pennsylvania.
