Eddie Payne Basketball Academy Scheduled

Corvallis, Ore. - The Eddie Payne Boys Basketball Academy will hold two sessions this summer. The first period is June 27-July 1 with session two slated for August 1-5. The camp is open to boys ages 8-18, including high school graduates. Headquarters for the camp is Oregon State Universitys Gill Coliseum.
Tuition is $325 for resident campers, and $260 for commuters. Resident campers will be housed in a dormitory on the OSU campus. Resident campers will have all meals catered in the Valley Football Center, while commuter campers will be provided with lunch and dinner.
Camp activities will begin at 8:30 a.m. every morning and conclude at 8:30 p.m.
The entire Oregon State coaching staff, coaches from other college and high schools, and current and former OSU players will serve as counselors. The Chicago Bulls Brent Barry will also be among the staff.
"The objective of a good basketball camp is to explain and teach a variety of fundamental skills," Payne said. "We want to teach the game and have fun."
