Women's Golf Finishes 13 at Arizona State

Tempe, Arizona - The No. 25 Oregon State womens golf team shot a final round 310, its best for the tournament, and finished 13th at the Ping Arizona State Invitational. The Beavers concluded the event with a 54-hole total of 85-over par 949. Sophomore Anne Brooksby led the short-handed OSU team the final day, posting a team best 3-over-75. Brooksby finished 65th at 26-over 242. Freshman Erin Borcherts was OSUs top player overall, tying for 35th at 18-over 234.
The rest of the Oregon State team, which was playing without injured starters Anjeanette Dabbs and Andrea Hehn, included Kathleen Takaishi tied for 49th at 237, Rachel Borcherts and Reena Eklund tied for 72nd at 246, and Jennifer Ferrante was 93rd at 275.
Grace Park of the host Arizona State Sun Devils won the tournament at 3-over 219. The Sun Devils also won the team title by 20 shots at 884.
