Women's Golfer Earns Academic Honor

CORVALLIS, Ore. - CORVALLIS, Ore - Oregon State University sophomore golfer Carina Olsson has been honored as a National Golf Coaches Association scholar student-athlete.
Olsson boasts a 3.94 cumulative GPA in pre-electrical engineering. The Sollentuna, Sweden native played in all 12 events during the 1997-98 season, and concluded the year averaging 78.3 strokes per round. She had three top-20 finishes for the season, including tied for ninth at the BYU Invitational.
