KETCHAM ON THE TEAM: The following are comments from Head Coach Mike Ketcham: "We are disappointed in the way we played at last week's Pac-10 Championships, so this is an important event for us. This tournament gives us an opportunity to return to playing well and getting us going in a positive way before we received a probable NCAA Regional invitation. The Stanford Golf Course is a good venue for our team, it's a big and long course and one where we have typically played well in the past."
KETCHAM ON THE SEASON: "We haven't had a great year, but we have made improvements along the way. Overall, I characterize the season as decent and we have played better as the season as progressed. Obviously we had a setback last week at the Pac-10 Championships, but this team is resilient and we are ready to get back after it. The team we have for this week's tournament is the one that is going to be playing the rest of the events. I'll make no bones about it, we need Anthony Arvidson to step up. I don't know if it's the dreaded sophomore jinx with Anthony, but if we get him going, we will be a very dangerous team."
