KETCHAM ON THE TEAM: "It is important we finish the fall season on a good note and go into the offseason with a positive attitude. I feel we have had a nice fall season, but there are things we need to improve on, hopefully I will start to see some of those improvements in this tournament."
KETCHAM ON THE TOURNAMENT: "We have an opportunity to finish near the top of this tournament, but you never know, the talent at this level gets better and better every year. I look back at last week for example and see we shot 864, which has won the tournament many times, but this year we shoot even par and finish sixth -- that shows just how far men's golf has progressed. The Lightning W. Ranch Course is a lot like our Trysting Tree Golf Club, with some large landing areas. We also are taking three players (Johnson, Arvidson, Dahm) who have played this course before so that should be a benefit."
TOP 10: Oregon State will is looking to stretch its top-10 finish streak to five tournaments this week at the Wolf Pack Classic. The Beavers are averaging 286 per round, or two-under-par based on a par of 72.
HIBERNATION: Oregon State won't return to tournament action unitl Feb. 1-2 at the Ping Intercollegiate in Tucson.
