2020-21
• Named a team captain.
• Went to 2-0 at Pac-12 Championships to earn his second straight title at 133.
• Posted an 8-6 record, starting seven of nine duals at 133 for the Beavers.
• Advanced to the third round of the consolation bracket at the NCAA Championships as the 16-seed with a 2-2 record.
• Defeated three ranked opponents.
• Recorded two decisions at the Pac-12 Championships, 4-3 (TB-1) against #24 Jason Miranda (Stanford) and 3-1 over #30 Chance Rich (CSU Bakersfield)
• Topped #18 Jason Miranda with a 12-4 major decision on Feb. 7.
• Finished with six wins by decision and two wins by major decision.
2019-20
• Pac-12 Champion at 133 pounds.
• Finished the season with a 26-9 record and ended the year on a seven-match win streak.
• Was 12-2 in dual meet matches and 14-7 at tournaments.
• 18-6 in matches that ended in decisions.
• Opened the season on an eight-match win streak and went 3-0 at the Mountaineer Invitational to claim first.
• Fastest fall of the year came in 54 seconds over Bucknell’s Darren Miller at the Navy Classic on Nov. 23.
• 7-0 in the month of February, which included five dual meet victories.
2018-19
• Ended the season 21-9 competing at 133 pounds.
• Wrestled to a 2-2 record in dual meets with wins against Cal Poly and Cal Baptist.
• Qualified for his first NCAA Championships at 133 pounds going 1-2 in Pittsburgh with a 7-5 decision over Dylan Duncan (Illinois).
• 2019 Pac-12 3rd Place winner at 133 pounds.
• Went 4-0 at the Mike Clock Open taking 1st Place.
• At the California Collegiate Open, Turner again took the top spot with a 4-0 performance.
• Ended the season with two major decisions, four technical falls and four falls.
2017-18
• Finished the season 10-16 at 133 pounds in his first full season at Oregon State
• Fourth place finish at the Pac-12 Championships.
• Picked up one ranked win against Nothern Colorado.
• Opened the year on the three match win streak.
2016-17
• Joined the program as a freshman, went 2-2 as a varsity competitor before being shut down with injuries.
• Earned six team points at 133 with victories against Appalachian State and Utah Valley.
DIXON HIGH SCHOOL
• Was a four-time all-GEL selection, team MVP, captain and national champion who also wrestled for the California all-star team.
• Graduated with a 3.0 GPA, was on the Dixon honor roll and won the school’s Black Lion Award.
PERSONAL
• Son of Fred Turner and Darnisha Theard; has brothers Tevonne, Tyler and Zavier and sisters Trinidy and Deanna.
• Enjoys hiking, boating, paint ball and dancing.
• His cousin, DeJon Gomes, played football at Nebraska and in the NFL with Washington and Detroit.
• Business administration major.
• Chose OSU because of its “great coaches, great team, and great atmosphere. I look good in orange and it’s a great school.”
