Ran in five meets as a true freshman ... Best finish was 8th at Westmoreland Quintet on Sept. 1, running attached ... Had season-best time of 22:58 at Washington Invitational on Oct. 2.
SUMMIT HIGH SCHOOL

A four-year letterwinner in track and cross country … Helped Summit win the 5A Oregon high school state championships all four years … Finished first at the state meet in the 800 as a senior and first in the 4x400 as a junior and senior… Owns personal bests of 2:16.52 in the 800, 4:41.91 in the 1,500, 5:06 in the mile run, and 10:37 in the 3,000 … Placed fourth her junior year and fifth her senior year in the state cross country championships and helped her team to a state title both years, clocking a personal best of 18:27.40 in the 5k … Also competed in basketball, captaining Summit her senior year … Voted most inspirational, best teammate and most dedicated by her teammates.

Plans to major in engineering; made OSU honor roll in 2016 winter quarter … Was a member of the National Honor Society … Was high school teammates with current OSU track athletes Kira Kelly, Lucinda Howard and Annie Sidor, as well as Oregon athlete Ashley Maton and Hawaii athlete Piper McDonald … Coached at Summit by Carol and Jim McLatchie and by former OSU track athlete Dave Turnbull … Also lettered two years in basketball ... Won six combined 5A state championships in track (4) and cross country (2) ... Hobbies include hiking and camping … Has performed community service with Habitat for Humanity … Chose Oregon State because of the “great engineering program and I could run on a team with a great program and coaches.”
