Beavers Headed to Canada for Summer Tour

CORVALLIS – The Oregon State men's basketball team will head to Canada for a summer preseason tour, the team announced Friday.

The Beavers will play three games in British Columbia, beginning with a matchup with Trinity Western University on Aug. 18. Oregon State will then face University of Victoria in a pair of contests played on Aug. 20 and 22.

Overall OSU will spend seven days in Canada. College basketball teams are allotted 10 official practices in advance of international trips.

The Beavers are headed into their first year under new head coach Justin Joyner, who comes to Oregon State after winning a national title as an assistant coach at Michigan. OSU's 2026-27 squad features a highly touted group of 12 newcomers, alongside returning all-conference honoree Josiah Lake II.
