Men’s Golf Concludes Season At Corvallis Regional

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Nguyen Anh Minh closed with a 1-under 70 and rose into a tie for 18th to top Oregon State's individual leaderboard, leading the host Beavers to a seventh-place finish at the NCAA Corvallis Regional on Wednesday.
Oregon State posted a final tournament total of 6-under 846. Oklahoma claimed the regional team title at 34-under 818, followed by UCLA (-14), Arkansas (-11) and Purdue (-10), with Liberty and San Diego sharing fifth at 9-under. San Diego won a playoff to advance to the NCAA Championships.
Nguyen's closing 70 was the Beavers' low round of the day, lifting the No. 25-ranked player to 3-under 210 for the tournament. Antoine Jasmin closed at even-par 213 in a tie for 26th, joined on the even-par line by Collin Hodgkinson and Stanley Lin (both 213, T26). Four Oregon State scorers finished the regional at par or better.
Lin's first-round eagle was one of only 10 in the field across 54 holes and Oregon State's lone eagle of the tournament. The Beavers also showed lineup-wide depth in the birdie column: all five players finished inside the field's top 23 in birdies made over the three rounds, with Jasmin and Hodgkinson tied for 17th at 11 birdies each, and Lin, Nguyen and Johnson sharing 23rd with 10 apiece.
