April 02, 2026 | Women's Golf
AUGUSTA, Ga. – Kyra Ly carded a 2-over 74 in the second round of the Augusta National Women's Amateur on Thursday.
Â
Ly concluded the first two rounds with a 3-over 73-74—147 at the Island and Bluff nines at Champions Retreat Golf Club to put her in a tie for 48th place. Ly wasn't among the top 30 competitors who will advance to the final round on Saturday at Augusta National.
Â
The field features 72 of the best golfers in the world who will all play Augusta National for an official practice round on Friday.
Â
Ly, a senior from Portland, was named an Honorable Mention All-American by the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) last season. She became just the second Oregon State women's golfer to earn All-America recognition, joining Kathleen Takaishi who received the honor in 1998.
Â
Capping an outstanding junior campaign, Ly was voted the West Coast Conference (WCC) Player of the Year, was an All-WCC selection and was named the WCC Golfer of the Month in February.
