Nguyen Anh Minh Named WCC Men’s Golfer of The Month

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State freshman Nguyen Anh Minh has been named the West Coast Conference's Men's Golfer of the Month for March, it was announced Friday.
Anh Minh played in the Bandon Dunes Collegiate, winning the event with a 13-under 200 score. He set a course record and tied the Oregon State single-round record with a 10-under 61 in the first round of play at the Bandon Dunes Golf Course.
The Hanoi, Vietname native shot under par in all three rounds of the event and has done so in 10 of the 14 he has played overall this year. He's averaging 69.28 strokes per round this year, which would end as the Oregon State season record.
He and the Beavers are currently playing in the Thunderbird Collegiate, hosted by Arizona State.
