SEATTLE, Wash. – The Oregon State men's basketball team fell to Seattle U 60-50 Sunday evening in Seattle, Wash.

The Beavers trailed by 20 in the second half, before battling back to with single digits late in the contest. Matija Samar led the Beavers with 14 points on 5-for-9 shooting from the floor. Jorge Diaz Graham had 12 points, six rebounds and a pair of blocks.

Yaak Yaak scored seven points. Isaiah Sy and Johan Munch had six rebounds apiece.

As a team, Oregon State shot 37 percent from the floor, and held Seattle U to 38 percent shooting. The Beavers move to 14-14 on the season and 7-8 in WCC play.

The Oregon State offense struggled to get going early on, as Seattle U held a 10-4 lead seven minutes into the contest. A 9-0 Redhawk run put the Beavers behind by a score of 19-9 with 7:30 remaining in the opening half.

Seattle U led 36-18 at the intermission.

Oregon State trailed 51-31 with 10 minutes to play, before a 14-0 Beaver run cut the deficit to nine. OSU continued to battle from there, but the Redhawks hung on for the 10-point win.

The Beavers will return home on Saturday for a matchup with Pepperdine.
