Farnos Named WCC Offensive Player of the Week

CORVALLIS – Oregon State standout Arnau Farnos has been named West Coast Conference Offensive Player of the Week, the WCC announced Monday afternoon.
Farnos scored two goals and tallied one assist on the week, as the Beavers played a pair of challenging road contests at No. 6 Stanford and San Francisco.
Farnos opened the week with a goal and an assist at Stanford on Wednesday. He followed that up by scoring the game-winning goal at San Francisco Saturday evening. The midfielder now has six goals on the season, and is tied for the conference lead in both goals and assists.
A native of Riudoms, Spain, Farnos was a preseason All-WCC selection. This is his first Player of the Week honor this season.
The Beavers will return home Saturday for the first time in a month, when they welcome Saint Mary's to Lorenz Field.
