Farnos and Straudi Named to WCC Preseason Team

CORVALLIS – Oregon State's Arnau Farnos and Fabian Straudi have been selected to the WCC All-Conference Preseason Team, the league office announced Thursday.
The WCC also released its preseason coaches' poll. The Beavers were picked to finish second, receiving one first place vote.
Farnos was selected as a United Soccer Coaches All-American last season. He earned WCC Midfielder of the Year and WCC First Team honors after finishing the year second in the conference in both goals with nine and points with 21. Overall Farnos has made 39 starts in 43 appearances for the Beavers.
Straudi earned All-WCC Second Team honors last season. The midfielder had 12 assists this year, one short of tying the Oregon State record. He will head into the 2025 campaign tied for seventh on Oregon State's career assists list.
Oregon State will face Seattle U in exhibition action Friday, before opening the 2025 season on Aug. 21 when UC Santa Barbara visits Lorenz Field.
