CORVALLIS – The Oregon State men's basketball team fell 102-64 in its first game of West Coast Conference play Sunday afternoon at Gill Coliseum.

Josiah Lake II led the Beavers with 19 points and five assists. Dez White had 14 points and a pair of steals. Keziah Ekissi scored nine points and pulled down four rebounds.

As a team, Oregon State moves to 7-7 on the season. The Broncos move to 10-4.

Elijah Mahi led six Santa Clara players in double-figures with 23 points.

The Broncos defense controlled the early going, as Santa Clara opened up a 14-4 lead to start the game. Oregon State trailed at the break 53-20.

Oregon State used an 8-0 run early in the second half to get back within 22. The Broncos would not let OSU get any closer.

The Beavers will remain at home Tuesday when San Francisco visits Gill Coliseum.
