Trio of Beavers Earn Academic Honors

CORVALLIS – Three Oregon State men's soccer players have earned WCC All-Academic honor, the conference office announced Thursday. Paul Fectaeu was named to the All-Academic Team, while Fran Cortijo and Andrew De Gannes were tabbed as Academic Honorable Mentions.
Fecteau has a 3.89 GPA as a Political Science major. He has appeared in 13 matches this season, recording one goal and two assists.
Cortijo is working towards a Masters in Business Administration. He is among the top-10 in program history for career goals, and has six goals and five assists this season.
De Gannes was named an All-WCC First Team selection on Wednesday. He is majoring in Organizational Leadership and has two goals and eight assists this season.
Oregon State will host Washington Thursday night in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
