SEATTLE, Wash. – The No. 4 Oregon State men's soccer team fell to Washington 1-0 Monday night in Seattle, Wash.

Gandhi Cruz came up with an impressive save in the 19th minute to keep the match scoreless. Washington believed it had scored in the 27th minute, but after going to review, the referee determined the ball had not crossed the goal line and the goal was chalked off.
The teams headed to the break level at zero.
Oregon State started the second half on the front-foot, but the Huskies cut out a scoring chance minutes into the frame. Washington found the net off a corner kicks in the 61st minute to open the scoring.
Arnau Farnos nearly evened things up in the 72nd minute, but his effort from the top of the box rose just above the crossbar. Fran Cortijo followed that up with a shot just off target minutes later.
OSU continued to create scoring chances down the stretch, but could not find an equalizer, as the Huskies took the win by a goal.
The Beavers will head to the Great Lake State next for matchups at Michigan and Michigan State.
