Doganyüz Completes 2024 Squad

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Rounding out the roster ahead of the 2024 season, head coach Lindsey Behonick has announced the signing of Alara Doganyüz.

S | 5-8 | Ankara, Turkey
A two-time participant (2021, 2022) for Turkey in the CEV U17/U18 European Championships, Doganyüz will look to elevate her game as she joins the Beavers.
Some of Doganyüz's accolades include: winning the Ankara school championship on three occasions (2021-22, 2022-23 and 2023-24), two third place finishes at the national tournament in back-to-back trips (2022-23 and 2023-24) and appearances in the Ankara School Sports tournament.
What Coach Behonick is saying: "We are so excited for Alara to join us from Turkey this season. She is a great player that is used to competing at a high level and thrives in big-time moments. Her eye for the game and desire to be great are two things I first noticed about her. She is confident, competitive and joyful as she plays – three qualities we know will enhance our culture on and off the court."
