Beavers Conclude Play At Thunderbird Collegiate

PHOENIX, Ariz. – Stanley Lin shot a 2-under 211 over three rounds and Rylan Johnson led the Oregon State men's golf team with a 2-under 69 in the final round of play Saturday at the Thunderbird Collegiate.

As a team, the Beavers finished with a 5-over 857 to place 12^th at the 17-team field.

Johnson had the best finish to the tournament – and his best round of the three – with the 2-under. He tallied four birdies Saturday, and had nine over 54 holes. Johnson tied for 43rd.

Lin's 12 birdies paced the Beavers overall, which helped him to a team-best 2-under 211. He shot a 1-over 72 in the third round after completing his second round at par. Lin tied for 19^th overall.

Mateo Fuenmayor also had nine birdies over the three rounds, and tied with Johnson with a 2-over 215. He opened his day with a 1-over 72 in completing his second round, then posted a 4-over 75 in the third and final round.

Jackson lake finished with eight birdies and a 3-over 216 overall, tying for 52nd. He concluded his second round early in the day with a 3-over 74, then shot a 1-over 72 over the final 18.

Collin Hodgkinson tallied a 15-over 228 in three rounds at the event, finishing in a tie for 94th. He shot a 5-over 76 in the final 18, and picked up two birdies over the two days.
