
Four Beavers Earn All-District Honors

CORVALLIS – A quartet of Oregon State men's soccer players have earned United Soccer Coaches All-Region honors, the organization announced Tuesday. Sergi Solans and Arnau Farnos were both selected to the First Team, while Nicklas Lund and Fabian Straudi earned Second Team recognition.
Solans was named WCC Offensive Player of the Year and Freshman of the Year after posting one of the best goal-scoring seasons in program history. He finished the year with 14 goals, tying him for the fifth-highest single-season total by a Beaver. Solans ended the season seventh in the nation in total goals.
Farnos was chosen as the WCC Midfielder of the Year and finished the year second in the conference in both goals with nine and points with 21. Overall Farnos has made 39 starts in 43 appearances for the Beavers.
Lund has been a consistent facet of the Oregon State back line over the last four seasons. He made a total of 68 starts during his career, and was selected to the All-WCC First Team this year.
Straudi recorded 12 assists during the 2024 season, one shy of the program record. He led the WCC in that category and finished fourth in the nation. Straudi also ended the year sixth in the conference in total points, on his way to WCC Second Team honors.
As a team, the Beavers made the NCAA Tournament for the sixth time in the last seven years. Oregon State finished the season 10-5-1.
