CORVALLIS – Oregon State forward Sergi Solans has been named WCC Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, the conference office announced Monday.
Solans had four goals and an assist over the Beaver's two games last week. He netted a hat trick against LMU on Wednesday, helping lift Oregon State to a 5-1 victory. He followed that up with another goal on Sunday, scoring the Beavers' only goal in a 1-1 draw against San Francisco.
This marks Solans' second WCC Player of the Week honor of the season. The forward leads the WCC and is tied for sixth in Oregon State history with 12 goals this season.
The Beavers will host their final home match of the regular season on Wednesday, when Bowling Green visits Lorenz Field.
