September 18, 2023 | Men's Soccer
CORVALLIS – Oregon State's Logan Farrington has earned multiple individual honors this week, as he was named both Pac-12 Player of the Week and College Soccer News National Player of the Week on Monday.
Farrington scored three goals and notched an assist this week, including netting both scores in the Beavers' 2-1 win at No. 1 Stanford. The forward started the week with a goal and an assist in a 2-2 draw at California.
Overall, Farrington has seven goals and two assists in seven matches this season, giving him the conference lead in both goals and points. The Racine, Wis. native is also tied for the lead nationally in goals scored.
Farrington is in his first season with the Beavers after transferring from Milwaukee, where he was a three-time All-Horizon League honoree. With his performance this week, Farrington has already matched his scoring total from last season with the Panthers.
Oregon State's win over Stanford marked its third win over the No. 1-ranked team in the nation in the last three seasons, with all three of those victories coming on the road.
The Beavers will return to nonconference play next weekend when they host LMU at Lorenz Field.
