CORVALLIS, Ore. -- A pair of national champions will join the defending Pac-12 champions in time for the 2023-24 season as the Oregon State program will sign a pair of transfers.
Steele Starren

Clackamas CC| Maple Valley, Wash.
The 2023 national title winner at 165 lbs., Starren will come to Corvallis after a successful stint up in Clackamas. Under the direction of then-CCC head coach Josh Rhoden, the Washingtonian clinched a second-place finish at the National Championships in Iowa in 2022. He finished his junior college career with helping the Cougars to their 10th consecutive west region crown.
Brett Mower

Iowa Western CC | Glenwood, Iowa
The 2023 national title winner at 197 lbs. and a two-time state qualifier, Mower will make the move to Corvallis from Iowa Western. Under the instruction of Josh Watts, Mower took a 10-9 win via decision to take the NJCAA's crown at 197 lbs. in March. On the way to the championship as the tournament's fourth seed, he used a pair of technical falls and two major decisions before the tight decision to win it all.
The Beavers are coming off their 24th Pac-12 championship in program history in the 2022-23 season that featured five individual champions. Additionally, seven competed in the 2023 NCAA Championships in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
