Beavers Open NCAA Play Monday In Las Vegas

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State men's golf team opens play at the NCAA Las Vegas Regional Monday. The Beavers are one of 14 teams at the regional, which will be held at Bear's Best Las Vegas and hosted by UNLV.
Oregon State is participating in its 19th NCAA Regional all-time, and fourth consecutive. The Beavers have made the postseason seven times now under head coach Jon Reehoorn since 2010-11.
OSU finished ninth at the 2022 NCAA Bryan Regional and are two years removed from advancing to the NCAA Championships.
The top five teams at the Vegas Regional will advance to the NCAA Championships at the end of the month in Scottsdale, Ariz. The highest-ranked finisher not on an advancing team will also qualify. Carson Barry qualified last season.
Barry, Carson Lake and Mateo Fuenmayor all contributed during the Beavers' play at the NCAA Championships two years ago.
COURSE: The regional will be held at the par-72, 7,217-yard Bear's Best Las Vegas.
FIELD (14): Oregon State is the No. 11 seed at the Las Vegas Regional. Other teams at the event include: (1) Arizona State, (2) Stanford, (3) Virginia, (4) Oklahoma State, (5) Northwestern, (6) East Tennessee State, (7) Cincinnati, (8) San Francisco, (9) UNC Greensboro, (10) Long Beach State, (12) Davidson, (13) Kansas City and (14) Lehigh.
BEAVERS' LINEUP: Oregon State's lineup will consist of Jackson Lake, Carson Barry, Mateo Fuenmayor, Collin Hodgkinson and Rylan Johnson. Nolan Thoroughgood will serve as the team's alternate.
FORMAT: Three-day, 54-hole tournament with 18 holes each Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. The top-four individuals from each five-member team with the lowest scores for each 18-hole round constitute the scoring members for that given round.
TEE TIMES: The tournament will run via tee times. The event gets underway Monday at 7:30 a.m. PT. Rounds two and three, Tuesday and Wednesday, will also start at 7:30 a.m.
LIVE SCORING: There will be live scoring for the tournament on golfstat.com.
