Oregon State Men’s Golf Concludes Play At The Prestige At PGA West

LA QUINTA, Calif. – Rylan Johnson shot a 4-over 75 to lead the Oregon State men's golf team in the final day of action Wednesday at The Prestige, held at the par-71 Greg Norman Course at PGA West.

Johnson finished with a pair of birdies, at the par-4 fourth hole and par-5 12^th. That was his second-best round of the three-day event, following a 2-over 73 on Monday. He ended the tournament tied for 64^th with a 13-over 226.

The overall team leader for the Beavers, who finished 20^th as a team, was Jackson Lake, who posted a 12-over 225 over 54 holes. He had seven birdies, just behind Johnson's team-leading eight, and finished tied for 60^th.

Mateo Fuenmayor shot a 15-over 228 over the three days, also recording seven birdies, with two coming on Wednesday. Fuenmayor finished the tournament tied for 78^th.

He was followed by Carson Barry, who tied for 101^st with a 20-over 233. Collin Hodgkinson shot a 24-over 237 over 54 holes to finish in a tie for 112^th.

The Beavers are back in action March 12-14 when competing in the Bandon Dunes Collegiate.
