
Armas, Farrington Tabbed As All-Americans

CORVALLIS – Oregon State standouts Javier Armas and Logan Farrington have both been named United Soccer Coaches All-Americans, the organization announced Friday.
Both players were selected to the All-America Third Team. The join Danny Mwanga, Khiry Shelton, Gloire Amanda, Sofiane Djeffal and Tyrone Mondi as Beaver to earn USC All-America honors.
Armas was an All-Pac-12 First Team selection this season, and an all-conference second team honoree in 2022. The Spaniard has started all 20 matches he has played this season, and has recorded a total of four assists. He has been an integral part of an Oregon State back-line that has posted seven shutouts this season.
Farrington was named Pac-12 Player of the Year, and leads the conference in both goals and points this season. Heading into the College Cup Farrington is tied for second on Oregon State's single-season goals list and fourth on the Pac-12 season goals list.
Oregon State is in the midst of its deepest even NCAA Tournament run, and will compete in the College Cup for the first time in program history Friday evening, when it faces Notre Dame in a semi-final matchup.
