Lund Named Academic All-District

CORVALLIS– Oregon State defender Nicklas Lund has been named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team, the CSC announced Tuesday.

The 2023 Academic All-District® Men's Soccer Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. Academic All-District® honorees are considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in early December.

Lund is majoring in business administration earning his second Academic All-District honor. He has played in 14 matches this season, starting 12, and scored his first career goal earlier this season vs. UC Riverside.

The Beavers are currently headed to the Round of 16 in the NCAA Tournament and will take on SMU Saturday in Dallas, Texas.
