Eldridge, Hughes-Murray Named To Hampshire Honor Society

IRVING, Texas – Former Oregon State offensive lineman Nathan Eldridge and outside linebacker Andrzej Hughes-Murray have been named to the prestigious Hampshire Honor Society, the National Football Foundation announced Wednesday.

The two help comprise the list of 1,559 players from 313 schools among all levels of college football who maintained at least a 3.2 grade point average through their playing careers, and were starters or significant contributors in the 2021 season. Players must have also completed their athletic eligibility last season.

Eldridge played in 24 games over three seasons for the Beavers, making 21 starts. He was a 2021 All-American, a two-time All-Pac-12 selection and two-time Pac-12 Offensive lineman of the Week. He also earned CoSIDA Academic All-District honors in 2021. He was also on the Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll twice during his career.

Hughes-Murray played in 50 games for Oregon State, making 38 starts. He made 157 tackles with two blocks, four pass deflections, a forced fumble and two fumble recoveries during his career. He was a 2019, 2020 and 2021 Academic Honor Roll selection and a 2017 and 2018 Pac-12 All-Academic Honorable Mention selection. The Federal Way, Wash., native was also a three-time semifinalist for the William V. Campbell Trophy in addition to being a 2021 AFCA Good Works Team nominee and Senior CLASS Award candidate.
