Oregon State Now Accepting Nominations For 2023 Hall Of Fame Class
December 21, 2022 | General
CORVALLIS, Ore. – The time has come for nominations for the 2023 Oregon State Athletics Hall of Fame class.
Help us celebrate Oregon State's rich history of athletic success by nominating a student-athlete, team, coach, administrator or special contributor for the 2023 Hall of Fame class.
Athletes must be at least five years out from collegiate competition to be eligible for induction. Student-athletes must also have earned at least two Varsity "O" letters.
Coaches, athletic administrators or athletic staff members must have been on their respective staffs for at least five years and currently be inactive. They can also have earned a Varsity "O" letter if they were a student-athlete at OSU.
For nominations, the records of the person considered should be outstanding, so much that there would be little question as to the qualifications necessary for induction. Consideration will be given for personal conduct in sports and the personal contribution to the idea of sport.
Criteria and qualifications will be based upon the nominees' participation while attending or serving Oregon State University. However, accomplishments after leaving the University may be an important part of consideration.
For team nominations, consideration will be given to those who contributed in a very outstanding and positive way.
