Carson Barry Earns All-America Recognition

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Carson Barry earned PING All-America Honorable Mention recognition as announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) on Tuesday.
Barry finished the NCAA National Championship in a team-best tie for 22nd place with a 4-over 69-67-74-74--284 at the par-70, 7,289-yard Grayhawk Golf Club.
He concluded the 2021 campaign with three top-10 finishes, 13 sub-par rounds and a scoring average of 72.47 in 32 rounds. His best score was a 6-under 66 in the third round of the Amer Ari Intercollegiate and his best finish was a tie for sixth place at the Thunderbird Collegiate.
Barry is the fifth Oregon State men's golfer to earn PING All-America honors. He joins Birk Nelson (1996), James Allenby (2008), Diego Velasquez (2010) and Alex Moore (2011). Velasquez was selected to the First Team, while the other three received Honorable Mention recognition.
