Beavers To Face Wake Forest At Emerald Coast Classic

CORVALLIS, Ore. – It will be Oregon State vs. Wake Forest in the opening round of the 2021 Emerald Coast Classic.
The Beavers will face the Demon Deacons at 6:30 p.m. PT (8:30 p.m. CT) on Friday, Nov. 26 at Raider Arena on the campus of Northwest Florida State College in Niceville, Fla. The first game of the day will feature Penn State vs. LSU at 4 p.m. PT (6 p.m. CT).
The third-place game will be played at 1 p.m. PT (3 p.m. CT) on Saturday Nov. 27 with the championship game scheduled for a 4 p.m. PT (6 p.m. CT) tip on that Saturday.

This will be the second-ever meeting between Oregon State and Wake Forest. The Demon Deacons won the first game, 94-74, on Nov. 28, 1977 on their home court when they were ranked No. 17 in the nation.
The Beavers are 1-0 all-time against Penn State with a 64-61 double-overtime win on Nov. 23, 1966 at the Kentucky Invitational in Lexington. Oregon State is 1-5 all-time against LSU with the win coming on Nov. 26, 1963 at the Far West Classic in Portland (87-57).
