LOS ANGELES, Calif. – The No. 2 Oregon State men's soccer team fell to UCLA, 3-2, in Los Angeles, Calif. on Sunday. The Beavers are now 12-2-2 (7-1-1 Pac-12) on the season. Earlier this season, OSU edged past the No. 23 Bruins, 4-3, at Lorenz Field.

"We were not good enough today," said head coach Terry Boss. "That was not our standard. We own it, we will learn from it and make it better."

Coming out of a scoreless first half, the Bruins found the net in the 46th and 58th minutes to take a 2-0 lead. Redshirt senior Tsiki Ntsabeleng put the Beavers on the board in the 64th minute with a header off fellow redshirt senior Tyrone Mondi's cross. Ntsabeleng's goal was his fourth of the season. The Bruins extended their lead in the 82nd minute of play. Down 3-1, freshman Joran Gerbet scored the Beavers' second goal of the match as well as his second goal of the season, in the 88th minute with a header off sophomore Javier Armas' corner, but it wasn't enough to edge past UCLA.

Junior Adrian Fernandez made two saves over the course of the game. Oregon State marked four shots on goal out of eight shots total and took six corner kicks.

Oregon State has a chance to claim the Pac-12 title outright in its final match of the regular season on Thursday against Washington. The Beavers can also lock down an outright conference championship with a San Diego State win or tie against Washington.
