Â
Q: Where have you spent the quarantine?
A: I spent the majority of the quarantine at home in Henderson, Nev., but now I am back in Corvallis.
Â
Q: What is the biggest positive to come from your quarantine?
A: The biggest positive was getting to spend a lot of quality time with my family that I wouldn't have gotten otherwise.
Â
Q: What is your preferred work out location during quarantine?
A: I spent most of quarantine working out at my physical therapy facility in my garage!
Â
Q: Abs or cardio?
A: A little bit of both.
Â
Q: What TV series have you enjoyed the most during the quarantine?
A: Netflix
Â
Q: What have you done during the quarantine that you didn't do during normal life?
A: During quarantine I spent a lot more time outdoors than I used to. It was always nice to get some fresh air after being in the house so much.
Â
Q: Have you done anything to improve yourself during quarantine?
A: I've been focusing a lot on self-care, improving my sewing skills and trying a lot of different cooking recipes.
Â
Q: What was your favorite moment from the 2020 gymnastics season?
A: My favorite moment this season as watching Lacy (Dagen) do a perfect beam routine at the pink meet! Thinking back to that moment still gives me goosebumps!
Â
Q: What do you want to be when you grow up?
A: I don't have any specific jobs in mind yet, but I know that I want to spend a lot of time traveling after college!
Â
Q: Is there a skill you're looking forward to learning during the offseason?
A: For now, I just want to focus on rehabbing my Achilles and getting all of my old skills back after having so much time off.
Â
Q: How did remote college work out for you?
A: Remote learning wasn't too bad, but I much prefer taking in-person classes. The biggest challenge was trying to stay motivated and on task while I was at home surrounded by distractions.
Â
Q: What do you look forward to the most about the quarantine ending?
A: I'm most excited to reunite with my team and get back to a somewhat normal life!
Â
Q: How is your recovery from last year's injury going? Are you close to doing gymnastics again?
A: Recovery has been going very well! I have been gradually adding in more running/flipping, along with lots of bars and beam. Getting back to full gymnastics is going quicker than I expected!
