
Ellsworth, Hafferty Named Oregon State Scholar Athletes of the Month

Oregon State honors pair of soccer players
CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State soccer players Madison Ellsworth and Joes Hafferty have been named Oregon State Scholar Athletes of the Month for November.
Ellsworth, a redshirt sophomore, started every game as a defender for the Beavers last season. The Hillsboro, Ore. native played at least 90 minutes in 17 of Oregon State's 19 matches in 2019, and helped the Beavers hold seven clean sheets. A management major, Ellsworth made the Pac-12 Honor Roll last season.
Hafferty is heading into his senior season, after earning Pac-12 First Team honors in 2019. The Renton, Wash. native has started all 35 matches he has played over the last two seasons, and has scored two career goals from the defender position. Hafferty is a business administration major.
