Beavers Finalize 2020 Track Schedule

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Head Track and Field/Cross Country Coach Louie Quintana unveiled the 2020 indoor and outdoor schedule Tuesday. The schedule is highlighted by the annual high performance meet at the Whyte Track And Field Center on May 1-2 and also hosting the Pac-12 Combined Events Championships on May 9-10.
This year's indoor season features 11 events, including the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Championships. Following the MPSF Championships (Feb. 28-29) the team will compete at the NCAA Indoor Championships (March 13-14) in Albuquerque, N.M
The indoor season kicks off with a trip to Seattle, Wash. for the UW Preview on Jan. 18 before the team returns on Jan. 31 for the two-day UW Invitational. Two weeks later, the Beavers compete in Seattle for the third time of the season with the UW Husky Classic on Feb. 14-15.
The outdoor season will feature a large array of traveling for the Beavers including seven separate trips to California during April and May.
Oregon State will open its schedule by staying local for the Lewis & Clark Spring Break Invitational on March 21 and then head to Riverside, Calif. for the three-day UC Riverside Spring Track Classic (Multis) on March 26-28.
The season continues with trips to Palo Alto for the Stanford Invitational on April 2-4 while a contingent of Beavers simultaneously compete at the San Francisco State Invitational. After returning from California, the Beavers showcase their talents in front of a home crowd by hosting the annual High Performance Meet at the Whyte Track & Field Center at the beginning of May before returning a week later to host the conference championships.
The Beavers begin their 2019-20 campaign on Saturday, Jan. 16 for the UW Preview in Seattle.
