Track and Field Tryout Meeting Set for Sept. 30

CORVALLIS, Ore. - Oregon State students who are interested in trying out for the track and field team must attend an informational tryout meeting on Monday, Sep. 30, at 4 p.m. The meeting will take place at the Beth Ray Center in room 138.Â
The meeting will cover the tryout process and necessary paperwork for students to complete before tryouts begin. The staff will go over all of the requirements in order to tryout and distribute forms for those interested to complete. Oregon State students must be enrolled in full time studies and attend the informational meeting in order to participate in the try out.Â
After the initial meeting, the tryout process will take place on the track at the Whyte Track and Field Center on Wednesday, Oct. 9, at 3:45 p.m.Â
This will be the only opportunity during the 2019-20 school year for students to tryout for the team. Students can contact assistant coach Pete Herber for more details at pete.herber@oregonstate.edu.
