Beavers to Host Inclusion Night, Senior Meet Friday

• Oregon State returns to Gill Coliseum on Friday to host a quad meet with Iowa, North Carolina and Seattle Pacific. The meet is slated for a 7 p.m. start.
• OSU remains ranked No. 15 in this week's rankings according to RoadToNationals.com.
• The Beavers will look to post a high score to replace their 196.100 from the meet at Washington in their National Qualifying Score (NQS).
• OSU enters this week's meet with a 9-3 overall record.
• Iowa is currently ranked No. 33 in the nation, while UNC is just outside the projected regionals cutoff at No. 46. SPU is 65th.
SENIOR NIGHT
Friday's meet marks the final time three seniors - Mariana Colussi-Pelaez, Mary Jacobsen and McKenna Singley - will compete at Gill Coliseum during the regular season. They will be honored in a senior ceremony following the meet. The trio has combined to hit 60 out of 63 routines thus far in 2019.
INCLUSION NIGHT
The meet is a celebration of inclusion as well as the Beavers' seniors. The event will serve as an informational opportunity for students and the campus community to learn about and engage with leaders from Oregon State's seven cultural centers as well as raising awareness for programming offered by OSU Athletics to its student-athletes.
TICKETS AND PROMOTIONS
• Single meet and season tickets are available by visiting BeaverTickets.com/gymnastics or by calling 1-800-GO-BEAVS.
• The meet is also Faculty/Staff Friday. Oregon State faculty and staff can purchase tickets for $5 with a valid OSU ID.
• The meet is also a Jr. Beavs meet. Children enrolled as Jr. Beavs receive free admission and a $5 companion ticket. Go to the marketing table in the Gill Coliseum lobby to get your child signed up to be a Jr. Beav.

REGIONALS IN CORVALLIS
• Oregon State will host the 2019 NCAA Regional Championships April 4-6.
• All-session tickets are available now for the three-day regional competition.
• All-session reserved passes are $42. Adult general admission is $27 and senior (62 and up)/youth (ages 3-18) general admission is $21.
• Single session tickets will go on sale at 9 a.m. each day of the regional competition for that day's session(s) only.

PAC-12 SPECIALIST OF THE WEEK ... AGAIN
Kaitlyn Yanish has been named as the Pac-12 Specialist of the Week for the second time this season ... Yanish registered a career-best 9.925 on the vault to win the event title and added a 9.950 on the floor exercise to finish third at LSU on Friday ... Yanish was previously the Specialist of the Week following the Beavers' win at Arizona State ... She earned a nod as Pac-12 Freshman of the Week once in 2018.
QUICK STICKS
• All four of OSU's lineups are ranked among the top 25 in the nation. The floor lineup is the highest ranked for the Beavers at No. 11 (49.290, National Qualifying Score), beam is at No. 15 (49.155), vault is at No. 16 (49.105) and bars ranks 25th (49.050).
• Oregon State has 'hit' 200 out of 216 (92.6%) routines in 2019 ... in comparison, the Beavers 'hit' 274 out of 288 (95.1%) routines last year.
• The Beavers have hit 24-for-24 once this season, for the first time this season against California.
• Through nine meets, OSU's routine production breakdown looks like this: Juniors have performed 76 of 216 routines in 2019 (35.2%), seniors have produced 63 of 216 (29.2%), sophomore 51 of 216 (23.6%) and freshmen 26 of 216 (12.0%).
• OSU scored 197.450 against UCLA, tying the sixth-highest score in school history, a score that only 10 teams (Oklahoma, UCLA, Florida, LSU, Utah, Denver, Georgia, Michigan, Kentucky and Minnesota) have topped this season.
• The Beavers registered a 49.600 on the floor exercise, missing the school-record by just .100, and besting the Bruins' top-ranked floor lineup.
• Oregon State opened the season on the road for the third straight season ... the Beavers now have a 5-0 record in those road season-openers.
• Ten of OSU's 15 regular season opponents on the 2019 schedule are ranked in this week's Top 36, including three among the top six.
• Oregon State hosts NCAA Regionals April 4-6. It is the first time OSU has hosted the regional round since 2013 ... this year's regional will be the first season with the new format that includes three days (four meets) of competition.
• Seventeen OSU gymnasts earned a 3.0 GPA or better during fall term - 11 of those were 3.5 or above including two 4.0s. The Beavers represent seven different colleges among their majors and two study in the Honors College.
• Senior McKenna Singley has recently been accepted to the University of Utah's S.J. Quinney College of Law.

• Oregon State, ranked No. 15, took its first road loss of the year falling at No. 4 LSU, 198.150-196.375.
• Kaitlyn Yanish tallied a career-best 9.925 on the vault to win the event title.
• Yanish added a 9.950 on the floor exercise to lead the Beavers. The score was good for a tie for third.
• Halli Briscoe equaled her career-high with a 9.875 on the uneven bars.
• Lacy Dagen paced the Beavers on the balance beam tying her career-best with a 9.90. Mariana Colussi-Pelaez also tied her personal mark with a 9.850 on the event.
SEEKING PERFECTION
OSU has nine gymnasts that have 'hit' all of their routines in 2019 including: Mary Jacobsen (26-26), Kaitlyn Yanish (26-26), Madi Dagen (25-25), Isis Lowery (22-22), Colette Yamaoka (8-8), Destinee Davis (4-4), Lexie Gonzales (3-3), Niya Mack (2-2) and Kristina Peterson (1-1).
DON'T CALL IT A COMEBACK
The Beavers appear to be rounding into form as the regular season winds down and several gymnasts have made their return to the lineup after the season began with several competitors from the 2018 squad ailing with lingering injuries. Destinee Davis, Sabrina Gill, Lena Greene and McKenna Singley have all returned from various injuries to at least some of their events. In addition, Alyssa Minyard suffered a season-ending injury during the preseason. Over the last two meets, that quartet has produced 14 routines for the Beavers.
THE ROSTER

• The Beavers have three seniors on the team (Mariana Colussi-Pelaez, Mary Jacobsen and McKenna Singley). The trio had combined to perform 224 routines in their career entering the season.
• There were four additions to the squad this fall with the arrivals of freshmen Leah Bivrell, Madi Dagen, Alex McClung and Kristina Peterson.
• Thirteen of the 21 gymnasts on the 2019 team competed in at least one meet for the Beavers last season
• Redshirt junior Lacy Dagen and sophomore Lexie Gonzales as well as freshmen Madi Dagen and Kristina Peterson made their Beaver debuts in the season opener at Illinois ... Sophomore Colette Yamaoka made her career debut against Utah.
• The Beavers have three gymnasts that hail from the state of Oregon - Lena Greene (Tigard), Jaime Law (Corvallis) and Alex McClung (Salem).
• OSU also has three gymnasts from outside the United State - Mariana Colussi-Pelaez and Sabrina Gill (Oakville, Ontario, Canada) and Isis Lowery (Melbourne, Australia).
• The Beavers return 22 out of 24 routines from the 2018 NCAA Regionals lineup. Both graduated routines by (Dani Dessaints and Shireen Khamedoost) were on the uneven bars.
LOADING UP FOR 2020
In November, three gymnasts signed the National Letters of Intent to join the Oregon State gymnastics program for the 2019-20 academic year. Kayla Bird (Chandler, Ariz.), Jenna Domingo (Honolulu, Hawai'i)Â and Jane Poniewaz (Henderson, Nev.) are scheduled to enroll at Oregon State this coming summer ... In addition, 2018 signee Jade Carey (Phoenix, Ariz.), who has deferred her enrollment this year to train for the U.S. National Team, plans to attend OSU in the future. Carey earned a pair of silver medals for Team USA at the 2017 World Championships.
