Ten Beaver Runners Represented on Pac-12 Honor Roll

SAN FRANCISCO -Â Oregon State is highly represented in Thursday's Pac-12 Conference Fall Academic Honor Roll with 56 individuals claiming a spot on the roster.

The Beavers' cross country team tied for second in the league with ten selections. The team was led by Alexa Hayes (Animal Sciences), Haley Wolf (Ecological Engineering) and Lexi Reed (Kinesiology). Reed was a second-team all-academic recipient last season. The remaining team earning recognition is Batya Beard (Kinesiology), Grace Fetherstonhaugh (Nutrition), Alyssa Foote (Nutrition), Mari Friedman (Mathematics), Madison Furhman (Public Health), Rebecca Ledsham (Mechanical Engineering) and Audrey Lookner (Biohealth Sciences). Â

To be eligible for the team, student-athletes must have a 3.30 cumulative GPA and have a minimum one-year residency at the institution. The Honor Roll is a new initiative by the league that takes the place of the former academic first team and second teams.
