Beavers Look To Climb Leaderboard On Final Day

STANFORD, Calif. – The Oregon State women's golf team concluded the second round of the Stanford Intercollegiate on Saturday and look to climb the leaderboard in the final day.
The Beavers are in 16th place in the highly-competitive 17-team field with a 28-over 295-301--596 at the par-71, 6,195-yard Stanford Golf Course.
The final round of the three-day, 54-hole tournament begins at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday and live scoring is available at golfstat.com.
Junior Ellie Slama led the Beavers in the second round with a 2-over 73 that moved her into a tie for 47th place with a 6-over 75-73--148.
Freshman Chayse Gomez continues to lead the Beavers on the individual leaderboard with a 3-over 71-74--145 that has her in a tie for 28th place.
Freshman Issy Taylor is tied for 61st place with an 8-over 74-76--150, senior Mari Nishiura is tied for 79th with a 14-over 75-81--156 and senior Nicole Schroeder is tied for 83rd with a 16-over 80-78--158.
Oregon holds the 36-hole lead with an 8-under 560 and Linn Grant of Arizona State and Vivian Hou of Arizona share the individual lead with a 7-under 135.
