Beavers to Open Conference Play in Eugene

• The Beavers travel to Eugene to take on No. 12 Oregon (7-3) in the Civil War brought to you by PacificSource Health Plans, Spirit Mountain Casino, Safeway/Albertsons, Your Local Toyota Dealers and First Interstate Bank on Thursday at 6 p.m.
• After playing the first 11 matches of the year on the road, OSU played its first home match on Tuesday. The Beavers are back on the road on Thursday to open Pac-12 play.
• OSU returns to Corvallis to host No. 13 Washington (8-2) in the Beavers' first home conference game on Sunday at 2 p.m.
TV/LIVE VIDEO
• Thursday's match at Oregon will air live on Pac-12 Netowrk and Pac-12 Oregon. Rich Burk and Amy Gant will be on the call.
• Sunday's match against Washington will also be broadcast live on Pac-12 Network, Pac-12 Oregon and Pac-12 Washington with Rich Burk on play-by-play and Nicole Rigoni providing analysis.

• Oregon State is 43-65 all-time against Oregon with the most recent win coming in a four-set match in 2014.
LEADING THE PAC
• Libero Grace Massey ranks third in the Pac-12 with 4.70 digs per set. She recorded a season-high 29 digs in OSU's win over No. 23 San Diego on Saturday.
• The Beavers lead the Pac-12 with 3.17 blocks per set in 2018. middle blockers Lindsey Schell and Maddy Gravley rank second and sixth in the conference with 1.42 and 1.27 blocks per set.
OUT FOR THE YEAR
• Senior Kory Cheshire is out for the season due to an undisclosed injury.
• Senior outside hitter Shekinah Clarke will miss the remainder of the season due to a knee injury.
• Both will apply for another year of eligibilty and intend to return to the program in 2019.
ALL-TOURNAMENT TEAMS
• SDSU/USD Challenge - Amy Underdown was chosen as the MVP after leading the team in kills in each match as the Beavers went 3-0 including a five-set upset of No. 23 San Diego. Maddy Gravley was also named to the all-tournament team.
• K-State Invitational - Haylie Bennett and Maddie Sheehan were named to the all-tournament team.
• Iowa State Challenge - Maddie Goings and Lindsey Schell were each named to the Iowa State Challenge All-Tournament Team and Grace Massey was selected as a tournament co-MVP on the season's opening weekend.
ACES
• Sophomore libero Grace Massey was named Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Week following the opening week of the season. Massey accumulated a conference-high 65 digs at the Iowa State Challenge and was named as a tournament co-MVP.
• Freshman setter Maddie Sheehan was named as the Pac-12 Freshman of the Week following the SDSU/USD Challenge. Sheehan tied her carer-high with 44 assists and added career-bests with six kills and five blocks in a win over No. 23 San Diego.
• Senior Kayla Ellis recently moved up OSU's all-time rankings last week to fifth with 1,296 career digs. She is on pace to move into the top three on OSU's all-time list by the end of the season. She needs eight digs to tie Shelly Smith (1991-94) for fourth in OSU history with 1,304.
